It may be small, but it packs a punch! Outer Planet is Capitol Hill’s smallest craft brewery, established in 2015. They were only open for beer-to-go throughout much of the pandemic, but they’re now open for indoor and outdoor dining! Reserve your table to guarantee a spot.
While they don’t offer a full menu on their site, you can browse their list of beer-to-go to get excited about your visit or pick some up to enjoy at home!
Elysian Capitol Hill

Did you know Elysian’s Capitol Hill location is actually their original? This classic brewery has been around since 1996! Their beer is as exciting and refreshing as the design of their cans with flavors like the Space Dust IPA, Dragonstooth Stout and Snailbones.
To take your love for Elysian Brewing to the next level, explore their huge collection of merch! They have clothing, outerwear, hats, drinkware, tap handles, art and more!

Bright, airy and spacious, Optimism Brewing is one of our favorite breweries to hang out in for a few hours. They truly have it all! Optimism is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, food-friendly and tip-free. Their heated concrete floors are designed with your pup in mind and there’s an entire kids play area in the back of the beer hall.
If you’re looking to chow down while you’re there, check out the lineup of food trucks available in the beer garden! As if this all wasn’t enticing enough, they have a clear and inspiring mission statement on what optimism means to them available on their website. We’ll toast to that!
